On Wednesday, Charlotte Business Journal announced it’s 2008 list of the Best Places to Work in Charlotte. Little took the top prize for the second year in a row. Check out all the winners here.

If you were lucky enough to get tickets before they sold out last month, enjoy Charlotte’s 10th annual Oktoberfest this Saturday. While I was too slow in buying tickets this year, but I went last year and it is truly one of Charlotte’s best fests. A beer lovers dream. Sample Atlanta brewery Sweet Water’s Blue and Catawba Valley Brewing Company’s King Don’s Original Pumpkin Ale (try it early before the run out)!

Another one of Charlotte’s best traditions takes place this Saturday: UNC Charlotte’s International Festival. Sample food, art and entertainment from around the world at the Barnhardt S.A.C. on campus from 10am-6pm.

Let’s hope the skies clear up so we can play.
